The 23rd SANKEN International Symposium
The 18th SANKEN Nanotechnology International Symposium

January 9th – 10th, 2020

Scientific and Industrial Research for Space Age

SCOPE

The Symposium will focus on interdisciplinary cutting-edge researches of science and technologies to find novel fields that contribute to space science and space industries.
Space exploration is a rapidly growing field for basic science and industries and sustainability of humankind and requires the knowledge and technologies form comprehensive research areas.
To explore such research fields where the expertise areas of ISIR; informatics, devices, materials, chemistry, biology, and nanotechnology can be applied, we invited leading scientists working on search for extraterrestrial intelligence on Mars, new materials for satellite, comfortable living in space station, moon exploration, and exoplanets using machine learning and so on.
Exchanging ideas during this symposium would stimulate each other and would bring us bold new strategies like a “Mars Shot” for future research.
